Love, Lattes and Lashes! Galentines Day 2022 at The Wellness Refinery

Galentine’s Day is all about celebrating the women we love inside ourselves and in the world around us, but most importantly taking time to treat ourselves! Last Friday TWR hosted the second ever Galentines Day even. Rooted in self care, love, abundance and friendship, calling this event a success is an UNDERSTATEMENT. 

 Our friends Be Well Fed kept our bellies full and spirits high with their amazing gluten free meatballs, roasted cauliflower and delicious dips! Even the pita was shaped like a heart - too cute! After filling up on probably the most delicious greek salad I’ve ever had, I got to try Aurora Grace chocolates’ pink macaroons. Not only did they look adorable they tasted bomb af.

Getting my Tarot Cards read by Janessa was incredibly enlightening. Her calming, bright presence made each card pull feel natural. Janessa helped me connect the card with my life and listened thoughtfully as we worked out the meaning together.

I also got to catch up with Taylor from Bare Warmth; she gave me stellar skincare advice about my combo/acne prone skin. Trust me, she’s an expert.

And around the corner was JM & Co doing lashes and hair styling the cutest braids! When we look our best we feel our best. Before the event some gals were doing trades - acupuncture ear seeds for lashes, now that’s love!

Speaking of acupuncture ear seeds… fun. I picked placements for anxiety and hormones but there are so many to choose from! And the best part is you can do it at home! Buy your own kit in TWR’s shop or online to elevate your self care game.

TWR’s very own, Genesis and Hannah, warmed the night up with cozy cups of February’s latte special, the Red Velvet Latte. The DIY station was so fun and cute! We got to pick from add ins like mucuna, ashwagandha, and reishi. I am definitely not a latte artist but the taste made up for the look.

Also shout out to all the brands that contributed to the swag bag! I felt like a little kid in a candy shop (a healthy, self care candy shop!) I ended the night unboxing all the goodies.
